Why only me?
Arthur Ashe was the best tennis player in The United States.
He was very popular with the public because he was one of the best players in
the world. ۔ Arthur was
transfused with the blood of an AIDS patient after a tragic accident, and
Arthur also contracted AIDS while he was dying. He has received a lot of
letters from his fans all over the world. A fan sent a letter saying, "Why
did God choose you for this terrible disease?" Arthur responded to just
one letter, saying, "More than 50 million children worldwide begin to play
tennis, and only five million of them learn to play tennis." Fifty
thousand out of these five million enter the tennis circle where they can play
from domestic to international level. Five thousand out of these fifty thousand
reach Grand Slam. Only fifty out of these fifty thousand Reaches Wimbledon and
there are only four out of 50 who reach the Wimbledon semi-finals. Out of these
four, only two go to the final and only one of the two picks up the trophy Is
chosen from. Carrying that trophy, I never asked God, "Why me?" And,
if now, I am hurt or I am in pain, I need to ask God, why me? When we didn't
ask God in our good times, "Why me?" Why people always ask in bad
times, why me?
In every situation one should be thankful to Allah Almighty
